The MSAT-PSTN Telephone Interface is a robust new voice product designed for use with the MSATe Mobile Satellite Radio. Manufactured by Link Communications, the MSAT-PSTN Interface allows users to access MSAT voice and PTT functions via analog telephone. Combined with the MSATe radio, the MSAT-PSTN Interface is ideal for remote communications and business continuity. When connected to the MSATe radio, the MSAT-PSTN Interface provides traditional dialing capability, dial tone, and ring tones. It further augments the MSATe radio’s effectiveness by allowing users to remotely initiate or receive voice calls utilizing a portable cordless telephone. Additionally, the MSAT-PSTN Interface enables Push-to-Talk (PTT) functionality using an analog telephone. Users can initiate/respond to PTT calls and toggle between talks groups using specific telephone key sequences.
