To set up your device, follow these steps:

First, unpack device:

  1. Insert the SIM card into the slot on the side of your Iridium GO! exec™.
  2. Plug the iridium go exec into the USBC wall charger. The first time you receive your device, it will be in storage mode, and in order to unlock it and then use it, you must plug it into a wall charger. Allow it to fully charge.
  3. Find an area with a clear view of the sky and the horizon away from trees and buildings. Make sure the device can see as much of the sky as possible because satellites move across and could be low to the horizon.
  4. Power up your Iridium GO! exec™ either by flipping the antenna up, connecting to an external antenna, or holding the power button for 5 seconds. Wait for the device to power up, then follow the onscreen prompts to complete setup. 
 

Now it’s time to set up your app:

  1. You’ll need to download the Iridium GO! exec™ app from the relevant app store.
  2. On your Iridium GO! exec™, select Settings and then show Wi-Fi access credentials. You’ll see a QR code, Wi-Fi name and password.
  3. Open the Iridium GO! exec app and follow the onscreen instructions to scan the QR code on the terminal screen to automatically connect to the Wi-Fi.

You can also connect to the
Iridium GO! exec™ by clicking on the Iridium GO exec! Wi-Fi name under your
Smart Device settings.

The default password is Password
and you can change it in your administrative settings. To minimize data use, we
strongly recommend setting your Smart Devices Wi-Fi connection to low data mode
or metered slash data saver. And now you are ready to go.
